Grid Snap Sets the snap type to Grid. When you specify points, the cursor snaps along vertical or horizontal grid points. (SNAPTYPE system variable) Rectangular Snap: Sets the snap style to standard Rectangular snap mode. When the snap type is set to Grid snap and Snap mode is on, the cursor snaps to a rectangular snap grid. This might sound crazy but Word comes with the same pen support as OneNote but has many, many more features compared to the Windows 10 app. Especially pertinent to me is access to tools like pandoc/writage for easy porting to markdown and other text formats, but there's also the huge flexibility you get choosing page backgrounds (not just grid.
Once you make Gridlines visible on your slidein PowerPoint 2013, you may wonder if there's really any benefit using theGridlines other than the obvious benefit of possessing a visual grid that lets you place slide objects. The answer is both Yes and No.Yes because that's all you may believe happens on the surface, and No because you should know about how the Snap toGrid option works, this option is not active by default! The Snap to Grid option helps to get the properposition of the slide objects. Other than making this option active, you can change the grid settings, such as changing the spacing inbetween the gridlines.
To access the Snap to Grid option, and to make changes to the way it works, follow these steps:
Select this check-box to snap objects to the gridlines as soon as they move fairly close to them. You can alsoturn on this option even without accessing the Grids and Guides dialog box by usingthe (Ctrl+Shift+F9) shortcut key. Turn off the option by pressing the same keyboardshortcut.
Under the Grid settings section, click within the Spacing selection box toget a drop-down list (see Figure 5), and choose any of the default grid spacing values available. You can also typein the spacing value or use the up and down arrows to set the custom spacing for gridlines (highlightedin red within Figure 5).

Select or deselect the Display grid on screen check-box to show / hide the gridlines on the slide. You canalso turn on this option even without accessing the Grids and Guides dialog box by usingthe Shift+F9 shortcut key. Again, this keyboard shortcut is a toggle option.
If you want these settings to be the default settings for all of presentations you create, clickthe Set as Default button (refer to Figure 4Autodesk autocad 2017 mac_osx_r1.dmg. above).
